This Privacy Policy describes how Vibes & Scribes ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit or make a purchase from www.steadfastbooks.live (the "Site").

Who We Are

Vibes & Scribes is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We operate from:

Personal Information We Collect

As you browse the Site, we also collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as "Device Information".

Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers ourselves), email address, and phone number. We refer to this as "Order Information".

When we talk about "Personal Information" in this policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the Order Information we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing payment, arranging shipping, and providing invoices and/or order confirmations). We also use Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you, including about your order or account;
  • Screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • Where in line with the preferences you've shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services (for example, our newsletter or Good Vibes Club rewards programme).

We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise the Site — for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing campaigns.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with trusted third parties to help us run the Site and our business, including:

We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Behavioural Advertising

We may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Our Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

As an Irish business, we process your Personal Information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to process and fulfil your order, including payment, shipping, and customer service;
  • Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention, Site security, and improving our products and services;
  • Consent — for marketing communications (such as our newsletter), which you can withdraw at any time; and
  • Legal obligation — where we need to retain or share information to comply with the law (for example, tax and accounting records).

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (for example, for marketing emails).

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.
